Umm Aminah Working It Out!
Face- I used Ulta Primer then followed with a light spotting of concealer. I did a light dusting of medium loose powder from Flori Roberts in Medium Clay Light to set the face makeup. I used a foam triangle for all applications. She has beautiful skin naturally, we just did some refining.
Eyes- I did a light smoky eye with some natural browns. I used a skin matching creme concealer for the base and covered the lid with the color Texture from Mac. I then shaded the base and the crease with the color Natural Brown from Flori Roberts using the shading brush. I used the color Gesso from Mac under the brow for highlight. The key to great eyes is blending!
Cheeks- I used Natural Brown Blush from Flori Roberts on her cheek bones using a kabuki brush from Eyes Lips Face.
Lips- I lined the lips with Nightmoth from Mac and I followed up with Moistly colored Lipgelee.
She is ready for a night on the town!

she's got the look!: christina ricci

Oh my goodness! I nearly swooned when I originally saw this pic! look at the perfection which is her eyebrows! the dramatic but very clean eyeliner is just gorgeous. the nude lip really puts the focus on her eyes! loves it.
To recreate this look I would use my new intimate friend MAC Penultimate in Rapidblack ad line the lower water line with a white liner to make eyes appear bigger. I would also fill in my brows with a dark brown pencil like Maybelline Expert Eyes.

Purvis The Muslim Intro

Hi, I'm Purvis, and I am a Muslim convert since Dec 2000. I am very low-maintenance and non-fancy, but I am trying to learn how to do stuff so I can at least be fancy sometimes. Everything good that I know, I learned from my bff HijabiApprentice. Whose advice I follow blindly, thank you.

As Salaamu Alaikum to All,

I feel Muslimah's are beautiful creatures of Allah ta ala and we should act like it. We should take time to look and feel beautiful for ourselves as well as our Zawj (Husband).
I love the skin and skin care, so I enrolled in The Aveda Institute and I will earn my esthetician's licnese in a few months. I am so excited! I also am a professional makeup artist, a beauty certified Color Me Beautiful consultant and a fine artist- SO- Like I said, I am am addicted to all things beautiful...
I am a very big product junkie. I am in love with all qualtiy cosmetic lines and skin care lines. I only endorse and promote what I use, and what products are good to use for others. I know we will all learn plenty from each other! Peace and Blessings to all--
