Recessionista Tip for Cleaning Brushes

Salaams and Salutations Beautiful Ones!

So I just washed my brushes and decided to try something new. I have mostly MAC brushes and I bought the MAC brush cleanser. I followed the directions but it seemed that my favorite brush, MAC's 187 stippling brush, was stained :(. So today I decided to use some diluted Dr Bonner's soap in lavendar to clean my brushes and voilĂ  I once again had white bristles!! I also have the Coastal Scents stippling brush (not even close to MAC's) and it's bristles got snow white as well with the Dr Bonner's! Can I tell you I will not be repurchasing MAC's brush cleanser? No maam!

Smooches,

HA

Hey Ladies!

UmmA: You can get Dr Bonners at Kroger, Whole Foods, Target, Trader Joes etc. I'm currently using the soap to clean my kitchen, bathroom, I added a bit to the prewash cycle of my laundry, I make a shampoo by adding evoo and water and I also use it as a shower gel. I'm hooked.

Purv: Yes the bottle has some scriptures on it LOL. I love this stuff though! I dilute it and it lasts awhile! It's green and frugal!
